Just over the Palm Beach County line from Broward, homes in Boca Raton are a great investment and more affordable than you might think. Anywhere in south Florida enjoys the same year-round delightful weather, exquisite white sandy beaches, and lush tropical vegetation. But you know that already, or at least have that impression, right?

Many think of homes in Boca Raton as being exclusively resort town real estate. But Boca Raton's first residents were visionaries and resourceful pioneers. Among the first numbered railway magnate Henry Flagler, architect Addison Mizner, and aluminum king Arthur Vining Davis. The second group, without whom the efforts of the first would have been in vain, are too many to be named. The town was incorporated in 1925, got its first airport in 1936, opened a resort hotel in 1945, opened its second school in 1958, and dedicated its community hospital in 1967.
