If you live in northeast Florida, you will be happy to know that there are a number of excellent Jacksonville real estate schools in your area. You will have your choice of several major real estate companies' schools, independent schools, and even community college schools. This presents you with a great advantage because you will be able to choose from a variety of locations and types of real estate schools.

Jacksonville Real Estate Schools Options

As noted above, you can select a school that is provided through a major national real estate company or through a community college. You can also, however, select real estate schools that offer both live classroom work and an online option. When making your choice, the key factors should be the quality of the school (and whether it is approved by the Florida Real Estate Commission), the location, the cost, and the options it offers.

In some cases, taking the required 63-hour pre-licensing course in a live classroom may be inconvenient or more costly than you can afford. Most people who are looking to get into real estate are already working at other jobs, and timing can be a serious issue. If that is your situation, you can still take your course from the quality school you would like to use, but you may be able to take it online or in CD-ROM format.

Finding Jacksonville Real Estate Schools

The major Jacksonville schools advertise on the Internet. Some have more than one location for live classes, and many offer a choice of day, evening, or weekend classes. Be sure to compare prices and to determine whether textbooks are included. The most important issue is to be certain that the course is approved before you take it.
