Oviedo, Florida, northeast of Orlando, is a community of unparalleled growth with a business friendly climate. Oviedo has a population of roughly 15,000, hard to calculate because of the nearby University with its many students. Oviedo is the home of the University of Central Florida.

Oviedo, Florida is also home to the Institute for Simulation and Training. The Institute is one of the nation's leading simulation, training, and virtual reality facilities. With high density databases, the Institute is developing the latest in computer science, software and distributed simulation.

Oviedo Arboretum

Oviedo, Florida is also home to the famous Arboretum, founded in 1983 on an original 12 acres. More than three times as large now, it is home to more than 60,000 varieties of flowering trees and shrubs. Mead Gardens and Kraft Azalea Gardens and Park are in nearby Winter Park.
