Cobb County Real EstateWritten by Courtney Salinas Cobb County is now is its own booming area, no longer a bedroom community to nearby Atlanta. The manufacturing and service industries here now employ as many people as Atlanta. The municipalities of Acworth, Austell, Kennesaw, Marietta, Powder Springs and Smyrna are all located in Cobb County. The towns and cities of Cobb County are known for their quaint and historic charm. Marietta is filled with buildings and neighborhoods listed on the National Historic Register. Smyrna is fondly referred to as "Jonquil City" for all the beautiful and fragrant flowers that line the streets of its downtown area. Any of Cobb County's municipalities are lovely places to live and finding a home should be an enjoyable process. Locating a Home in Cobb CountySome real estate agents or homeowners don't update their online listings, which can be frustrating if you're looking to do online home shopping. The home you're looking at may have been sold months ago, but the listing may not have been updated because the agent or home seller never bothered to delete the posting. Many home listings are also missing large amounts of information, from the square footage to the color of the walls. Lots of listings have photos of the house and yard, and some even offer 360-degree views of many of the rooms, but it's still so hard to get any idea of what the house really looks like. Photos posted on the Internet are low resolution so that the web page won't take long to load, but the consequence of a short load time is lack of detail. To really get a feel for a house, you have to visit it.
