Spectacular Setting for Maui Beach Front Condos

Maui beach front condos are largely located on the fabulous west and south coast of the Valley Isle. Being on the leeward side of 10,000-foot Haleakala, this entire region is relatively dry, sunny, and hot. This is the coastline that has the perfect picture postcard, white, sandy beaches.

It also has the world-famous beaches that encourage myriad watersports: swimming, snorkeling, deep sea diving, kayaking, jet skiing, surfing, boogieboarding. Although the surf picks up in the winter, for most of the year the bays and beaches are ideal for novice divers and expert surfers alike. The ocean at Napili, Lahaina, and Kihei is especially safe for children, and great for swimming.

The Resorts

This southern region of Maui has four world-renowned resorts and world-class golf courses. Kapalua is the farthest west, and has Maui beach front condos and condos on the fairways of its golf courses. Kaanapali Alii, at the Kaanapali resort, is built right at the beach. Both these full-service resorts also have tennis courts, horse trails, spas, gyms, salons, and elegant shops and restaurants.

Farther south along the coast are Wailea and Makena, home to small, private enclaves of condos, some on the beach, and some built on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. This is quieter territory, with low-rise, unobtrusive Maui beach front condos that are gated and built to take advantage of the spectacular ocean views. The entire area of West Maui and South Maui real estate is developed along the shore in order to have access to the beaches, and to enable residents to take in the panoramic vistas from Haleakala to the blue Pacific Ocean.
