Chicago lofts can be found in several neighborhoods throughout the city. The West Loop area, which is close enough to the business nerve center of the city to make it an easy commute, but far enough away to make it a bit more comfortable and spacious, has seen the construction of many state-of-the-art Chicago lofts in the past few years. Several are located in converted warehouses, offering great square footage and a unique style.

High ceilings and open space are the things that make lofts appealing to most people. However, many Chicago lofts also come with incredible views and easy access to public transportation. There are even spaces that overlook Lake Michigan. One can also find a loft with windows facing the Chicago skyline, home to the Sears Tower and the John Hancock Building.

Newly Renovated Chicago Lofts

The real estate market in Chicago continues to grow. Neighborhoods are constantly being overhauled. Old, rundown buildings are being transformed and converted into beautiful, new properties, often featuring doormen, covered parking, fully furnished apartments, and other amenities for both renters and buyers.

Many of the newest rentals on the market are completely renovated Chicago lofts. The floors, wood paneling, windows, and kitchen reflect the latest in architecture and technology. In several locations throughout the city, refurbished lofts are the most luxurious residences available. There are older properties that still feature all the benefits a loft provides, but at a much lower cost.
