West Loop condos have become some of the hottest properties in Chicago. Over the past several years, the South Loop area of the city has turned into the proverbial "it" spot. With a newly made over Printer's Row, the South Loop features some of the finest residences in the city. The transformation that occurred in the South Loop has continued westward.

Warehouses and older buildings have been converted into new West Loop condos. Rent is not extremely high in the area, allowing people from different age groups and tax brackets to make it their home. Gentrification is not an uncommon practice in the city of Chicago, so as the West Loop becomes more popular, it is possible it will also become more expensive.


Sites Surrounding West Loop Condos

Living in this particular part of the city has many benefits. Many people who live in the city work in the loop. This is the name given to the section of Chicago where various train lines literally make a loop before heading on their way to their ultimate destinations. A number of corporations and government organizations have their headquarters in the area. This makes the commute for those living in West Loop condos and working downtown an extremely easy one.

As more people have moved into the neighborhood, more restaurants and shops have opened. This has made the West Loop more insular. People can simply walk from their homes or take a short bus ride to enjoy an entertaining night on the town.
