Who wants to live in New York City when there's a better city just a few hours north? Those loyal to New York City often admit that Boston has most of the same things Manhattan has. New York has some things Boston does not have and vice versa. Boston has done a much better job at preserving the city's historical value. Both cities are incredibly important to the entire world. In fact, New York City is arguably the most influential city in the entire world. New York, however, seems to have lost a bit of its history when it comes to what you physically see. The people still embody New York's rich history, but the landscape is losing that delicious past. This issue is always at the forefront of every political election. Boston continues to set the example for big cities. Kids educated in Boston often score better on standardized tests and are more likely to attend college. Parents place a premium on education and realize Boston is a very attractive place to raise a family.
