When people hear about someone relocating to Las Vegas, they most likely picture someone moving to a home within walking distance to one of the many mega-casinos on the strip. They assume that a person will be getting a job as a showgirl or a casino dealer. These people have no idea that there are many peaceful suburban neighborhoods a few miles away from The Strip. A licensed real estate agent can provide you with the information you need if you're curious about any of these neighborhoods.

One of the oldest Las Vegas neighborhoods is the city of Henderson. Henderson was established in 1953 and has since become a thriving family-friendly community. Henderson is home to seven public golf courses and 40 public parks, making it a recreation destination for people throughout the Las Vegas area. There are 34 public schools and several colleges and private schools in Henderson.
