When it comes to school selection, Summerlin cannot be beat. Summerlin has some of the best public and private schools in the state of Nevada. Best of all, these schools are located within walking distance of many of the villages in Summerlin.

Summerlin offers its residents an unprecedented selection of different schools. There are nine private schools and eight public schools within the community providing education from the preschool level to 12th grade. There are even post-high school options such as the premier culinary arts institute Le Cordon Bleu College. This is the newest culinary campus so its classroom kitchens are stocked with the latest in cooking technology.

Educational Options Abound in Summerlin

If you want your child to have a liberal arts education, the Alexander Dawson School, located in the village of The Gardens offers children a rigorous nonsectarian educational experience. If you prefer that your child's education has more spiritual enrichment, there are several religious private schools including Jewish, Catholic, and Lutheran, in Summerlin.

The Meadows School located in the village of The Pueblos offers your child a college preparatory education from preschool to 12th grade. There are numerous sports facilities on the campus and separate playgrounds for upper, lower, and middle class levels. If your little one is too young to attend school, Summerlin is also home to award-winning daycare. Lit'l Scholar, located in The Hills provides daycare and after school care for children from preschool to upper grade school.
