Culpepper County real estate is charming and typically affordable. It is, however, rarely available. The population of Culpepper is less than 9,000, with fewer than 4,000 families making up its constituency. If you're looking to move to Culpepper County, you'll need to do your research and have a little patience.

Culpepper County, along with Fauquier, makes up the heart of the Piedmont area of Virginia. This area is known largely for equestrian sports--for horse farms and for riding. There are also several fine golf courses in the area.

Culpepper County Real Estate in Lovely Neighborhoods

Culpepper County real estate is very popular with people who work in other areas of northern Virginia. Culpepper itself is not an industrial center, but rather a charming rural residential area. Colonials, ranches, and Cap Code style homes are the most popular in Culpepper County real estate.

One of the selling points of Culpepper County is its relative proximity to Washington D.C. It is approximately 60 miles distance from the nation's capital, so many residents take advantage of all of the cultural opportunities in Washington D.C. But of course, nothing is a better selling point than all of the charm and natural beauty of northern Virginia.
