Properties For Sale

If you're looking at properties for sale in Washington DC, you have a wealth of places to choose from. If you have the money, credit and taste, the Upper Northwest segment of the city is a place you should look. This section of DC includes the Georgetown Historic District. Within that area, you will find the highly-acclaimed Georgetown University, Oak Hill Cemetery, Mt. Zion Cemetery, Tutor Place and Georgetown Market.

I wouldn't suggest buying property on Oak Hill Cemetery, but it is an interesting place to visit. Properties for sale in the downtown area are close to the Foggy Bottom Historic District, the Blair House, Franklin Square, Warner Theatre, Ford's Theatre, Federal Triangle, and the White House. Needless to mention, there are a million other places to visit in the downtown area.

Properties for Sale in Other Parts of DC

Dupont Circle and the Embassy Row areas are popular spots for Washington's trendy and affluent residents. If you are in or around the Dupont Circle area, I strongly suggest stopping by the Phillips Collection and the Heurich Mansion. St. Matthew's Cathedral is also an incredible site. Again, there are an infinite number of other places Dupont residents enjoy on a daily basis.

The Capitol Hill Historic District is my favorite DC community and I consistently look at properties for sale in this neighborhood. It's my dream to live in this part of the country again, specifically around Capitol Hill. The Library of Congress and the Folger Shakespeare Library are all the temptation I need. I'm constantly checking the listings for properties for sale in this community.
