Minnesota Singles

Minnesota singles are tasked with a formidable struggle--finding someone to keep them warm in the freezing winters. Minnesota may be the Land of 10,000 Lakes, but it may as well be the Land of Subzero Temps as well. All that clean water and all those rolling green hills are there to entice settlers who are otherwise squeamish about planting stakes in such a frigid part of the world.

That said, Minnesota singles have a wealth of options at their fingertips. Camping year-round, hiking, fishing, boating, and swimming are just a smattering of the activities available to outgoing daters. History buffs have a rich history of Scandinavian ancestry to study, and linguists delight in finding classic Nordic names around every turn. And, of course, Minnesota is home to Lake Wobegon and 'A Prairie Home Companion.' You can practically hear Garrison Keillor's voice booming from the heavens the moment you step out the plane in Minnesota.

Searching for Minnesota Singles

Search the Twin Cities for singles and you'll find countless eligible bachelors and bachelorettes with profiles posted on internet dating sites. And those who feel jaded about meeting haughty, cynical singles (you've been in New York and L.A. too long!) typically find that, in God's country, the people tend to be a bit more patient, a tad more forgiving. Clearly, one can't generalize about an entire city, but generally this is true.

Check out any of Minneapolis-St. Paul's countless art museums and galleries, its top-notch dining, its nightlife and music scene. Or catch a Twins or Vikings game, a Gophers contest, or bike along the state's endless miles of country road. If you can't find something that you and your online date can agree to, you're either a poor match or you're not looking hard enough.
