Nashville Dating

Say you're not a die-hard country music fan; are you still allowed on the Nashville dating scene? For many people, the mere mention of the word Nashville gets the banjos and harmonicas cooking. With the Grand Ole Opry Museum, the Country Music Hall of Fame, and other landmark attractions, the connection between Nashville and roots music is undeniable.

That doesn't mean you have to own every Johnny Cash CD in existence to find success on the Nashville dating scene--though it may help. There are plenty of distinctly non-country things to do in Nashville, many of which make for great date outings. But if you've just met a sensational match through an online dating network, and he or she is already talking Conway Twitty, it might not hurt to go with the flow and don your cowboy hat for your first outing.

Other Nashville Dating Options

So you survived your first date at the Bluebird Cafe, and now it's time for you to make the call. Why not mix it up with a tour of the Belmont Mansion, an estate boasting marble mantels, cast-iron gazebos, and ornate parlors? If antebellum Tennessee isn't your thing, try the Nashville Zoo instead, or the Cheekwood Botanical Gardens.

Whatever you end up doing, the important thing is enjoying the company you keep. There are Tennessee singles out there in droves, many of whom are game to try new things per your suggestion. The key to good matchmaking, however, is ensuring that the door swings both ways, so be prepared to make some sacrifices of your own (aside from attending the Country Music Museum).
