Detroit Wedding Djs

Wedding DJs have the distinct honor of announcing the bride and groom as they arrive at the reception. This may sound like a mundane assignment, but it really can be an elegant, elaborate, or unusual event. The trend is for the newlywed couple to arrive in a manner that is different and unique.

One method of transportation that is replacing the use of limos is to rent or borrow a caravan of antique cars. This is especially impressive when they are all the same color (such as all black, all red, or all white). A '66 mustang or an old MG is a great fun idea for transportation.

If you are not into antiques, you could still get the same results by using Corvettes, Jaguars, or other sports car convertibles. If these are too pricey for your budget, any type of convertible will add an air of distinction to your wedding entourage.

Wedding DJs Announce the Arrival of the Bride and Groom

The perfect transportation from an outdoor wedding to the reception is a horse and carriage. This certainly creates a unique atmosphere for the bride and groom. Even if the wedding is at the church or chapel, there is something about a carriage ride that is exciting. Just think of hearing the click-clack of the horses' hooves coming to a halt and the DJ announcing, "Welcome Mr. And Mrs. Jones!"

A winter wedding, on the other hand, has its own troubles. Some areas are faced with travel problems due to snow and ice. If possible, have the reception in the same facility as the wedding. This will eliminate the need for hassling with heavy coats over beautiful gowns. It will also cut down the dangers of driving or walking on treacherous grounds. If you must go from one site to another, consider having a shuttle or van service to transport the guests.
