DJs can be included in your wedding even if you are on a limited budget. One benefit of having a professional DJ emcee the flow of the events is to make certain the day will go smoothly. They are experts at keeping the attention of the crowd while progressing through the activities of the wedding and reception.

Before you begin any planning, determine the amount of money you have to spend on the wedding and all the related activities. You will need to list items such as photography, flowers, cake, dress, invitations, and reception expenses. Once you have a list of the different areas, get at least three estimates for each one. This will help you know if and where you will need to cut expenses.

Ways to Include Wedding DJs in the Budget

One way to cut major reception expenses is to have a dessert reception or a brunch rather than a dinner party. This will greatly reduce your food expenses. You also need to look at your guest list and see if you really need or want to invite all of the people you have listed. If you are serving a plated dinner, it will help to send an RSVP card with the invitation. That will eliminate paying for food that will not be needed.

Another place you can cut costs is on the flowers. Decorating your archways or trellises with more greenery than flowers is less expensive than covering them entirely with flowers. You can use enough flowers to give the color effect you desire without spending huge amounts of money for the decor. When you are checking prices with the florist, ask for prices for party flowers in the type you want instead of asking for wedding flower prices. Some florists increase the price as soon as you mention the word "wedding."
