Protect Your Family with the Best of the Best

An ADT security system is designed by one of the oldest, largest, and best security companies in the nation. Throughout their 125 year history, ADT has led the way in the innovative security services, from their simple Call Boxes of the early 1900's to the interactive video surveillance introduced in the year 2000. With ADT, you know you are backed by years of experience in the home security industry.

Their expertise is recognized commercially as well. A significant number of Fortune 500 companies rely on ADT for their security needs, as does the largest residential customer base in the electronic security industry. In fact, with over two million customers nationwide, ADT's market share is nearly three times greater than it's nearest competitor! ADT can supply you with the home security system to meet your needs and give you the peace of mind that you deserve.

The Reliable ADT Security System

Communication between your ADT security system and the Customer Monitoring Center begins with the installation of an ADT control panel, security system devices, and a telephone connection device in your home. Communication from your home to the ADT Customer Monitoring Center works over telephone lines. So it doesn't matter where your Customer Monitoring Center is located, the connection time is similar to what you experience when you dial your phone to place a call.

If an alarm situation occurs, such as a burglary or fire, your system is designed to communicate a "signal" to your ADT Customer Monitoring Center. When an alarm signal occurs, it is because a specific device or sensor has been interrupted or tripped, which then sends a message to the control panel in your home. Once the control panel receives the signal, your system is designed to seize your telephone line and send a signal over that telephone line to your ADT Customer Monitoring Center, upon which they will contact the local authorities if necessary.
