Covert CamerasWritten by James Lyons Do you trust your kids? Do you have someone who consistently works in or on your house and some things are now missing? Do you trust your nanny? Do you trust your babysitter? Parents can only do so much to protect their kids and protect their homes. Some parents, however, do more to secure their domiciles than others. These parents usually thank themselves down the road. Bolstered by movies like Paparazzi, the issue of the right to privacy is making its way back to the forefront of social discourse. What is the line and is there an actual right to privacy? Parents argue that they have every right to keep their kids safe and they can take any measures they deem necessary to guarantee their kids' security so long as the measures are legal. Types of Covert CamerasThere are literally thousands of different covert cameras on the market. There are clock radio cameras that parents can put in their kids' bedrooms to monitor their kids' activities. There are smoke detector cameras and button cameras that literally double as a shirt button. There are fiberoptic cameras the size of a pinpoint and exit sign cameras that double as exit signs. It's getting harder and harder for people to spot covert cameras. You could place a smoke detector camera in a room full of private investigators and many of them would not be able to distinguish the smoke detector camera from a real smoke detector. When you can fool the best, you know you're in good shape. The question is: Can you fool your teenager?
