Fiber Optic CamerasWritten by James Lyons If you have a need in your life to spy on someone or covertly monitor your domicile, fiber optic cameras will work for you. At the very least, these gadgets are incredibly fun to use. I've the opportunity to play with a few incredibly small fiber optic cameras and each time I marvel at how remarkable these things are. In fact, many of the fiber optic cameras on the market can produce images as good as or better than many of the camcorders currently on the market. Growing up in Houston, Texas, I had dreams of being James Bond. I wanted to be James Bond for most of my early childhood until I found out he was British. I don't have anything against the British, but I'd rather be an American spy. What I created was a hybrid between Indiana Jones and James Bond. I used to obsess over spy movies and spy equipment. Fiber Optic Cameras for the Normal ConsumerA number of things that weren't available to the general public are now available to everyone. Everyday people like myself can now own spy equipment. Some people buy this stuff because it's a novelty, something interesting to show friends and family when they come over to visit. Others are collectors and like collecting spy equipment and other little gadgets. Still, others feel a strong need to protect their families and these devices, to a certain degree, can help people protect their homes. If you think an intruder is in your house, you can use your fiber optic camera to peer around the corner. You can hide covert cameras all over your house. You can buy a state-of-the art alarm system. There are so many things you can do to build a sense of security.
