Surveillance Monitors

If you've ever been in a nice office building like the JP Morgan Building in downtown Manhattan, you've probably seen the security guards sitting in front of security monitors. Las Vegas casinos have hundreds and hundreds of security cameras perched on the ceilings that feed into rooms full of surveillance monitors. Las Vegas, above all cities, is the surveillance capital of the world.

With all the cameras perched around the casinos, you can hardly sneeze without someone upstairs noticing. Casinos are filled with money which means casinos are filled with people looking to steal money. To curtail crime, casinos have taken security to the extreme and made it next to impossible for thieves to earn a living. Someone is always watching, so it's better to try your luck at the blackjack tables.

Surveillance Monitors for Your Home

Most people don't own a casino, so it's not necessary to mount a thousand cameras. In fact, most homes can be covered with a few cameras and one surveillance monitor. If you have the "quad" feature available on your security system, you can view four different cameras on your monitor at one time. I'm sure you've seen this feature in movies and television shows.

This technology is absolutely affordable and absolutely worth it. While casinos take every possible step to protect their customers and, above all, money, parents are willing to go further when it comes to protecting their kids. Installing a capable surveillance system is a step in that direction.
