Army Aid

In these trying times of global conflict, we have come to realize the value and importance of the sacrifices our soldiers on the ground make. As a result, our nation has stepped up its financial rewards for soldiers--instituting better pay for troops, Army aid programs, and increasing allowances. This is in addition to the numerous services already in place to reward our soldiers for the jobs that they do.

These services are often set up as army aid programs, designed to help the former soldier not only in his or her transition to civilian life, but to also to keep rewarding soldiers for their service throughout their lives. For instance, after a vet gets his or her degree s/he may decide that s/he wants to start a business. So, s/he might be eligible for a preferred rate on a Small Business Administration loan. From here she can build up a successful business, constantly enlarging her bottom line and contributing to the community. Due to this increasing wealth, she might decide to move into a bigger and better house. She would then be eligible to apply for a VA administered home loan that would once again allow her to receive a special preferred rate, letting her keep more of the wealth that is constantly growing.

What about Army Aid for Those Down on Their Luck?

The Army realizes that being a member of the services is not only one of the most rewarding thing a person can do, but also potentially one of the most stressful. As a result, some vets can have a difficult time adjusting to civilian life at the end of their tours. There are various army programs designed to alleviate this problem, from extended health care assistance to job placement services.

So, we, as a nation, have recognized the value of the service our troops do, and we have set up many programs to reward and help those who have worked so hard to protect us. It is not only a nice thing to do--it is the right thing to do.
