Marine Financial Assistance

As a way to bring in recruits and take care of its veterans, the United States Marine Corps offers a number of Marine financial assistance programs to its members. These can range from college loan programs to the Survivor Benefit Program, all of which are designed to make sure that the individual soldier and their families get the most out of dedicating themselves to their country.

The Survivor Benefit Program ensures that the spouse and children of members who die while on active duty or receiving a pension will not be left without the resources to survive. It is a noble gesture by the government to ensure that Marine financial assistance programs will take care of those that our bravest men and women leave behind when they have to make the ultimate sacrifice.

Additional Marine Financial Assistance

Another Marine financial assistance program available to veterans of the Corps is the Tricare health program, which provides all vets and their families with a lifetime of health care. Though this is a military-wide program, it is something that all Marines should look into as they retire and face the options of private insurance, Medicare, or free coverage through the Veterans Administration.

The Marine Corps has a long and proud tradition of service to this country, often finding themselves to be the "first ones on the ground" during any armed conflict. And the country wants to make sure it has an equally proud tradition in taking care of those veterans and their families any time, whenever it is needed.
