As a way to bring in recruits and take care of its veterans, the United States Marine Corps offers a number of Marine financial assistance programs to its members. These can range from college loan programs to the Survivor Benefit Program, all of which are designed to make sure that the individual soldier and their families get the most out of dedicating themselves to their country.

The Survivor Benefit Program ensures that the spouse and children of members who die while on active duty or receiving a pension will not be left without the resources to survive.
