As an active duty or retired member of the armed forces, there may be a ton of military financial help available to you. There are government and private organizations that exist only to help veterans in managing and maximizing their financial health. These entities have been put in place to ensure that we are best serving those who have served us, so they can only work to your advantage.

Among the most widely used forms of military financial aid is the Montgomery GI Bill, which provides funding to veterans who want to go to college or vocational tech school. The benefits can be rather generous, and allow veterans to complete their educations in relative comfort. It has allowed hundreds of thousands to receive the training they need to be successful in civilian life.

However, there are a plethora of other military financial aid programs in place to ensure the continuing success of veterans once they have left the services. One such service is the VA Home Loan Guarantee program, which helps veterans qualify for mortgages that have more favorable rates than those available in the private sector. This program has been put in place to reward veterans for the years of credit building they have forgone in serving their country.
