Shock Watch

Shock Watch seals protect individual packages and whole deliveries from unnecessarily handling and illegal tampering. While theft is a major concern in shipping--costing companies millions of dollars each day--so is breakage. Rough handling of cargo that breaks merchandise is an unfortunate daily occurrence, but it can be identified and eliminated with Shock Watch seals.

How Shock Watch Seals Work

These shock detecting seals are simple to use: put the 3-inch by 6-inch label on any corrugated box, and the seal does the rest of the work. Built in the label is a mechanism that senses impact at a number of varying levels; if your package or delivery has been mishandled, you will get a visual confirmation. This acts as a visual deterrent to rough handling.

Plus, the Shock Watch label has other security features, too. For instance, it has sequential numbers on the label; if someone removes the label--and then merchandise from the box--and tries to replace it with a different label, the numbers won't match. You'll have proof that the box has been tampered with.

The labels are also self voiding: if one is cut, a hidden message--such as "open"--appears about two hours after resealing. While the thief thinks he's stolen without leaving any trace of a crime, he's actually pinpointed how and when the theft took place. These security seals are physical and visual deterrents to mishandling and theft.
