Tamper Evident Security Labels

Tamper evident security labels can be used on packages, cargo, or trailer doors to indicate unwanted entry into a storage container. They are large (four by thirteen inches) self-adhesive seals that can be customized with your message or any warning to potential thieves. Since they are so large, these tamper evident security labels easily indicate when the seal has been broken and the security of your goods has been jeopardized.

Anyone can break into your container and make off with your cargo while it is unattended. A security seal is an additional obstacle. Since tamper evident security labels leave a very noticeable sign that a door has been broken into, thieves will generally go for an easier target, leaving your cargo alone.

How Tamper Evident Security Labels Work

A security label is self-voiding; once it's been unsealed, it will no longer look the same, making visual confirmation easy--much easier than opening the storage container. You can also get numbered labels; if someone breaks a seal and tries to replace it with another, you can check the label's numbers and verify that it's been tampered with. Whenever anyone one fiddles with your goods, you'll know.

By putting the labels in the right places--over the side doors and down the center of the container--any would-be thief can easily tell that container is rigged. With each entry way sealed off, the thief has a few options: break in and tell the world that a crime has been committed, or find someplace else that isn't as well protected. When it comes to deterring crime, take as many precautions as you can.
