Covert Video Cameras

It's more than likely that at some time in your life you have been recorded by a covert video camera. The fact of the matter is that these are very useful tools in many different settings. Obviously stores use these cameras to watch customers and make sure they are not stealing, but they are also often used in private homes. Parents are now frequently used to watch child care providers and make sure they are treating a child in an appropriate way.

Buying a Covert Video Camera

Before buying a video camera to use in one of the aforementioned ways or any other way, there are a few things you should think about. First, you should consider where you are going to put the camera so that it is as invisible as possible. Think about what room the camera is going to be in and what objects would be germane to that setting. If the camera is going to be in a bedroom, perhaps an alarm clock camera would be a good choice. If it is a public office, there are plant cameras, smoke detector cameras and even "EXIT" sign cameras available.

Another thing you should consider is whether or not you want and need a wired camera or a wireless camera. If price is a consideration, the wired cameras are less expensive. The wireless cameras, however, can be put in more locations as the possible distance between the transmitter and the receiver can be as much as 150 feet.

You should also consider whether you want a black and white camera or a color camera. The color cameras are obviously more expensive. They are usually about $100 more than black and white cameras, so you have to decide if it is worth it.
