Trophy plaques are wooden or ceramic plaques that are used to display hunting trophies such as deer antlers. The trophy is mounted onto the plaque and the plaque is mounted on the wall. Using a trophy plaque makes the trophy look more presentable and professional.

Trophy plaques range in price from less than $20 to over $100. The price depends on what kind of material is being used, the size and how elaborate the plaque is. A simple rounded wood plaque is probably the cheapest kind available. However, there are very artistically carved wood plaques with detailed work that cost as much as $130. For a more inexpensive option, an award plaque can easily be turned into a trophy plaque.

Alternative Trophy Plaques

For some the idea of having an animal trophy in the house is unpopular with their families. Others are looking for a way to display their trophies in more than one location. For those occasions, there is a simple and inexpensive option. A photo plaque can display a photo of a hunting prize or group hunting outing. The plaque can then be engraved with the type of animal, the location of the hunt and the date if you so desire.

There are also companies that will engrave a replica of a picture into a wooden plaque for a more rustic look. This can be expensive, though, at around $50. But, for those who would like to proudly display their trophies in both in both their homes and offices, this makes a great second option.
