St Christopher Medals

St Christopher medals are close cousins to St Sebastian medals. The two saints share jurisdiction over a number of sports, from baseball to wrestling. The two are among the most popular patron saints around, thanks to the many sports fans who fervently invoke the names of these saints during a tight game.

The funny thing about these two saints is what they have in common. First of all, no one really knows anything about either of them. Scholars are nearly certain that both were martyrs and fairly sure both lived during the third century. That pretty much ends the history lesson. Nothing else can be proven about these two gentlemen, though myths about them abound (including one in which St Christopher is portrayed as a giant who carries people across a wild stream at God's behest, taking on this duty only after finding the Devil to be lacking in fortitude).

St Sebastian and St Christopher Medals

Those invested in the fates of a sports team might not mind the lack of history, so long as there is assistance available in the present. Those who either play or watch any kind of sport will be tickled by the gift of one of the many St Sebastian or St Christopher medals made today. These medals are made from high-qualities materials that will withstand the onslaught of a particularly tough game.

If St Sebastian or St Christopher medals are not your cup of tea, you can always turn to St Rita. St Rita follows only one sport. As the patron saint of baseball, she has a lot of work to do. She is especially revered in Chicago and Boston, as you might imagine.
