When you're looking for clearance golf bags, it's a good idea to focus on the specific features you need. While you may have to sacrifice some of the more advanced premium features, you can still purchase a quality golf bag that will perform well for years. First and foremost, you will want to look at clearance bags that will protect your golf clubs adequately.

Quality Features in Clearance Golf Bags

As important as protecting your clubs is making sure your golf bag is comfortable to carry. Whether you carry your bag, wheel it, or ride a cart, your golf bag should be easy to lift, not cumbersome or clumsy. If you walk your bag, a key feature is the sturdiness of the legs and the ease with which the legs lock into place.

If your bag does not have a number of pockets and pouches, you may want to make sure that there is at least some accommodation in the bag for a cooler pack. Depending on where you golf, this can be a critical feature. At the very least, you should be able to carry a cold bottle of water in an outside pouch. Another minimum requirement for most golfers is a locking pocket to hold their wallets, keys, and other valuables.

Clearance Golf Bags Accessories

Sometimes you can find great accessories that cost less to buy separately than if they came with your golf bag. One such accessory is a sturdy wire locking system that threads through the handle of the bag and around a heavy object such as a pipe or interior car door handle. Another one might be a club sleeve that protects any graphite shafts you own. Remember that many clearance golf bags are high quality bags that simply did not sell. Settling for a well made golf bag in a color you hate is probably preferable to settling for a bag with no quality features.
