Buy FlowersWritten by Charles Peacock To buy flowers or not to buy flowers: that is the question. And the answer to this question should always be "yes!" Whether you're looking for something to brighten your day or someone else's day, flowers are always a great way to go. They're cheap, they're easy, and people always love them. When to Buy FlowersFor some reason, a lot of people only buy flowers for special occasions: a wedding, a graduation, a birth, or a death. And while these are certainly very appropriate occasions for bringing along a bouquet, my personal philosophy is that flowers are great for any occasion-- even if it's not an occasion at all! I recently had the great privilege of spending a few months in Holland, which is almost certainly the center of the world flower market. It's not just easy to buy flowers in Holland-- it's almost compulsory. Every street corner in Amsterdam seems to have a little flower stand where you can buy flowers of every conceivable shape and color. If there's one thing I learned from the Dutch, it's that flowers are a fantastic way of brightening up your home. Buy flowers a few times a week, and your house feels like it's always full of life. Flowers can add color to an otherwise drab office, and can make a wonderful centerpiece to your dinner table.
