Thank You Note Cards

Sometimes in life, people do things for us that require us to do something more than merely utter a quiet "Thank you." Sometimes people do things so unbelievable that we don't know where to begin in expressing our thanks. It is in these situations that I believe a good letter will say it all. A written thank you is putting your thanks in ink, which takes more thought and time than simply thanking someone verbally. It means a great deal to the person on the receiving end.

Have you ever been in a position for someone to thank you? Which do you feel expresses it better, a gift or a heartfelt letter? That's always a good test to know what course of action to take. Many times in life, we know we should write a thank you letter, but we just can't seem to get motivated enough to do it. We might even set time aside to write it, but something comes up and it doesn't get done.

Inspire Yourself

I have found that owning stationary or cards that you like will encourage you to write the letter. If you have cards with your favorite quote on them, your initials or a design that inspires you, you will be more likely to use them. I am also aware that drug stores and local card stores might not offer the kind of selection required to find said cards.

This is when I suggest turning to the Internet. You will be amazed at the selection that is available right at your fingertips. In addition, many sites offer customizable cards. You can add your own saying or your name to the card. They are yours, so they should say something about you. It's fun if friends receive the card and know just by looking at it that it's from you.
