Custom T Shirt Printing

Of all the items that it's possible to apply an image to, t-shirts and caps are probably the most popular. T-shirts are inexpensive, yet give plenty of space for graphic coverage. They're highly popular with old and young alike, and it doesn't look as if t-shirts with imagines and logos on them are going to go out of style any time soon.

Silk screen printing has been the method of choice for applying an image to a t-shirt for decades. Now, however, the machinery used in the process is very different from the early versions. Everything is computerized nowadays, giving a crisper, clearer image and reliable conformity no matter how many items you're processing.

Using Quality Materials for T-Shirt Printing

Any style of t-shirt is suitable for printing. The important thing is the quality of materials used. Fabric should not be too stretchy. It also needs to be fairly closely woven to give the desired effect. The quality of inks used is very important to the finished product, both in terms of appearance and durability. Cheap ink is likely to wash off after the first few washes and is generally not a good value for money.

If you have an image that you'd like applied to t-shirts, you first need to have it converted into a format that is usable by the silk screen printing machines. Most likely, the company you approach for screen printing services will be able to help you with this. They can also advise you on sizing your image and on the colors you will use.
