Your pricing gun is one of your most important tools as a retailer, for without it your products aren't clearly marked for your customers. Don't make the same mistake with your business. A good pricing gun lets you print one-, two-, even three-line labels if need be, and lets you swap in different types of stickers. Whether you end up with a Monarch, Meto, Garvey, or any of the other brand-name tag guns, check to make sure its style and capabilities suit your individual needs.

How Much Will a Pricing Gun Cost Me?

You may think that a high-quality pricing gun will cost you hundreds of dollars, and at some office retail stores that's not too much of a stretch. But you can get drastically reduced prices on tag guns and other POS supplies when you order them together in volume. In many cases, if you purchase enough pricing labels, your wholesaler will throw in the gun for free.

On the other hand, maybe you're the regional manager or buyer for a chain of retail stores, and you're trying to substantially cut costs. If you're looking to outfit all your branches with POS equipment, buying in bulk is a great way to get reductions of 20, 30, or 40% Find an online supplier who can customize your order to make sure you get precisely what you need, from guns and inventory tags to carbon paper and register rolls.
