Electronic message signs are built to be incredibly versatile, durable, and easy to use. These computer controlled LED signs come in various colors, including red, green, yellow, a tri-color option, blue, and white. They can display most characters from European languages and also offer many pre-programmed graphics characters.

Electronic Message Signs Have Variable Features

Electronic message signs can be programmed for different speeds and display features, such as running text from the left or the right. They can also be operated in a number of ways. The simplest way is using an infra-red keyboard. With these, just point and type. Otherwise, they can be controlled using Windows-based software.

In some cases up to 150,000 characters may be saved in the memory. Electronic message signs may not need all of this memory for financial applications. Trading floors and money exchange kiosks are two very popular places for these displays to be used.

Some models can display up to 18 lines displaying trading information on foreign currencies. These displays have the look and feel of 21st century technology, but they are actually very easy to use. Most operators choose to update information via a personal computer or modem. However, some displays can be updated via a cell phone or even a pager.
