Judaic Jewelry

When people think of Judaic jewelry, they often think of Star of David pendants. While these pendants are still quite popular, Judaic jewelry does not stop there. There's a lot of wonderful variety out there if you're willing to spend a little time looking for it. The easiest and best place to find this wide variety of jewelry is online.

Judaic Jewelry for Bar and Bat Mitzvahs

Perhaps you're thinking of buying a piece of Judaic jewelry for a Bar Mitzvah boy or Bat Mitzvah girl. Of course, not all 13-year old boys are crazy about wearing jewelry, but surprisingly, many of them are. Simple necklaces can be quite popular with teenaged boys, particularly interesting, intricate pendants hung from leather chokers. Ask the young man in your life if he might want a cool pendant of a Mezuzah or a hamsa for his Bar Mitzvah. Believe me, he'll give you a very clear opinion about whether he'd like this gift or not.

12- and 13-year old girls, on the other hand, love jewelry almost universally. Pay attention to your niece's, granddaughter's or daughter's taste before buying her Judaic jewelry for her Bat Mitzvah. Does she love classic, elegant designs, or does she prefer wildly colorful jewelry? Are her favorite clothes and jewelry items a little bit exotic, or distinctly American? Observe her taste, and buy her something that matches it.

In addition to Judaic pendants, look for lovely pins, interesting earrings, and unique bracelets. You may even want to consider a jewelry set. For instance, I've seen lovely earring and necklace sets that feature the doves of peace. If you have a sensitive young person in your life, she may love this peaceful sentiment.
