Kidkraft Kitchen

The Kidkraft Kitchen is for the child who always wants to help crack the egg, mix the batter or bake the chicken. The only differences between this little kitchen and a real one is that the Kidkraft is safe and made of wood. You won't find any working stoves or faucets, but you will find very active imaginations. Your child will have hours of fun preparing dinner right along with you.

The Kidkraft Kitchen is painted in lovely pink, yellow and blue pastel colors that go beautifully with any child's bedroom or playroom. The colors are attractive and fun, not overbearing or ugly. It can be fun to watch and play along as your child uses the oven, stove, refrigerator, freezer, microwave and sink to "cook" up some delicious meals and "bake" some tasty desserts. You never knew you were living with a gourmet chef, did you?

Parents Magazine even gives a nod to this spectacular child's kitchen. It even includes all the cabinets and storage spaces that allow for storing toy utensils, pots, pans, cups and plates. It can be fun to use the cabinets like a pantry and fill them with pretend food. Some parents will put non-perishable items in there like pretzels, granola bars or cereal boxes. The more "grown-up" toys your child has to play with, the happier he or she will be.

Cooking with Kidkraft Kitchen

The Kidkraft Kitchen becomes even more like real life when you notice the knobs on the sink and the faucet that swivels. Kids can come up with a zillion games to play with this kitchen. They will most likely want to cook things for you. The kitchen is a perfect addition to any variation on the game of "house." Children have a blast pretending that they are grown up. The kitchen helps them do this.
