Rolex Day-date

Every style of Rolex has something that sets it apart from the rest. Some are designed for diving, racing, or traveling. Others are simply decked out with diamonds, emeralds, rubies, or other jewels. There are even Rolex watches that were created for special occasions, such as gold or silver anniversaries. Regardless of the design, every watch is built to be durable, keep accurate time, and to reflect the style and elegance that Rolex has come to pride itself on.

While the Rolex Day Date is not suited for any particular activity or sport, it does have something different than other watches of the same collection. In fact, it features a calendar mechanism that is far more advanced than that of almost any other finely crafted watch on the market. It features both a date and day display. The day can be viewed in 26 languages, making this a truly international timepiece. Unlike most Rolexes, the Day Date is only available in a design for men.

Day Date Features

The traditional Day Date features a pink dial marked with Roman numerals. The color of the watch face is available for other Rolexes, but it is not very common. This feature is covered by a fluted bezel, which further adds to the unique appearance of the watch.

Like most Rolexes, the Day Date is waterproof up to a depth of 330 feet. It is also self-winding. While this might not seem like an important feature, it ensures that the watch will continue to run accurately without the constant monitoring of its owner.
