Duos wedding rings are simply wedding bands for the groom and bride that match each other exactly, with the only difference being size and width. Many couples believe that by choosing duos wedding rings, they are demonstrating their solidarity and their love for each other. It is a very traditional option to choose wedding bands that are uniform in color and design.

Probably the most traditional duos bands are yellow gold without diamonds. Throughout recent years though, other types and styles of wedding bands have been gaining in popularity. It is not at all unusual to see a couple pick out platinum or two-tone wedding rings with diamonds.

Plain Bands or Fancy Bands

If you and your significant other have decided on purchasing duos wedding rings, then you must decide what style of ring will suit both of you best. If you like clean lines and classic styles, then your best bet would be a plain gold or plain platinum band without any diamonds or other gemstones. If however, you like something with more detail or shine, then you could choose bands encrusted with diamonds that are an exact reflection of each other.

Many couples decide to go for the two-tone look without any diamonds. This is a great alternative for people who have other jewelry of different metals, and like to mix and match. Two-tone is a versatile way to go when shopping for engagement rings or wedding bands.
