Noise Control Solutions

There are a lot of companies out there making big claims about noise control solutions. They employ a host of different technologies to control noise, some are scientifically sound and valid, others are complete nonsense. If you're desperately in need of noise control solutions, I highly recommend thinking about white noise sound masking devices. This technology is tried and true. It's been used in homes and offices for over thirty years, and recent advancements make it even better at controlling noise.

Noise Control Solutions Using Sound Masking

One situation where noise control solutions are needed is in a crowded office setting. In large rooms, row after row of cubicles dot the landscape. In each of these cubicles, a person is working. Each person makes noise by talking, typing, writing, whatever. An individual herself may not be overly noisy, but taken as an aggregate, a room full of people working away can get very loud. Potential distractions float through the air, reducing productivity. This is where noise control solutions like sound masking come in handy.

Strategically placed sound masking devices around the cubicle area create a blanket of white noise that hushes the distracting noises in the room. The random noises get masked by the constant, soothing hum of the white noise emitters. The white noise is so steady, the human brain quickly stops noticing it, just like you stop noticing the sound of an air conditioner after it's been on for a minute.

As noise control solutions go, this is probably the best. Study after study highlights the benefits of white noise sound masking as a means to control unwanted noise. It's either that, or you could flip the lights on and off like they did in grade school when the class got too noisy. You ever tried to tell a room full of adults to use their six inch voices?
