Microsoft Word 2000 CD is a friendly, interactive CD-Rom disk that is easily customized for beginning or more advanced users of Microsoft Word 2000. This CD guides the user through step-by-step creating, editing, formatting, printing, and merge-printing of a variety of documents. Working directly with the Word 2000 computer software program itself, the user masters all essential procedures and learns to use special features such as the Toolbar, Wizards, Grammar and Spellchecker, bulleted paragraphs, envelopes, mailing labels, drag-and-drop, AutoText, form letters, and creating documents for Web sites.

For a stand-alone PC, a computer system capable of running Word 2000, with a hard disk, floppy drive, CD-Rom drive, and a sound card and speakers are needed. For a network, a Novell 4.x or Windows NT 4.x server (or higher) with 1.5 GB hard drive space for this course, or a CD tower with 2 drives. Clients require sounds cards and speakers, but no CD-ROM drives. These components are necessary if you want to use the Microsoft Word 2000 CD course.
