Massage Software

Massage software can be a lifesaver for the therapist with a private practice. It's also a great system to have in place for spa facilities and health clubs that offer massage as well. New web-based appointment systems can really make your life easier, safer and more profitable.

Let Massage Software Give You a Hand

If you're a therapist in private practice (especially if you make housecalls), you know how frustrating last-minute cancellations can be. Web-based massage software is a practical solution to some of these problems. You can encourage clients to book with you over the Internet. The massage software system can be set to accept a reservation only if it includes a valid credit card number. Clients can, of course, also send an e-mail with a scheduling request if they don't have a credit card. However, if you have a cancellation policy in place that will charge the card, clients have an excellent incentive to keep their appointments. It will be up to you to decide which situations merit exceptions from the automatic billing system.

Spas and clubs that offer massage have other issues that good massage software can help with. Staff issues also come into play in a spa setting. Many practitioners are drawn to massage because of scheduling flexibility, but staff changes can be a nightmare for front desk personnel.

Automatic notices and requests can be generated if a therapist must change her schedule, giving other on-staff therapists the chance to call in and pick up the shift without the front desk having to spend a lot of time on the phone calling for a substitute. Therapists can also be notified by email of their appointments for an upcoming shift. This eliminates the need for them to call in on a frequent basis to make sure no new appointments have been added. This way, no one's time is wasted and clients get the best, most efficient service possible.
