Arizona Golf Packages

A vacation golf package can save a traveler considerable expense, but be sure to calculate what the costs would have been if you'd booked transportation, accommodation and golf fees separately. There are times when you don't need everything that's included, or maybe you have a cheaper form of transportation or lodging available. Golf packages are likely to be a bargain, but check the vacation out both ways and you won't be kicking yourself later on.

Arizona golf package deals usually revolve around specific golf courses and specific hotels in the moderate to luxury price range with which the travel agency has an arrangement. You'll probably have a choice of three or four packages for each participating community. Oftentimes, the price difference in packages is because of the number of rounds of golf included (anywhere from one to three rounds, usually). Some may offer four rounds of golf, one at each of four courses.

Some vendors who put together packages have golfers themselves design such packages, and have played the courses they're recommending. They will tell you which clubs, drivers, or wedges to bring, if you ask. Other travel professionals who put together golf packages have extensive experience in the hospitality industry, having worked with enough golfers to know exactly what they want, on the course and off. Additional benefits in the package may include a buffet breakfast or a breakfast that's cooked to order each day. Room prices are almost always based on double occupancy.

Spa Amenities Are Top Rate

Arizona has long been known as a healthy place to live, as a place for sick people to get well, and for everyone else in between. In addition, many of the spas are world-renowned. If it's of interest to you, ask about the possibility of the cost and time for a spa treatment, for yourself or a traveling companion, being included in the package.
