Ballistic is a golf club manufacturer that specializes in making clubs for children ages five through 12. The company manufactures only right handed golf clubs in two styles. The two sets available are the Inferno Stix and Lightning Stix series sets. The clubs are designed to match the slower swing speeds of children and carry higher loft than normal golf clubs.

Ballistic Sets

The Inferno Stix series can be used by players between ages five and 12. The set includes a driver, three irons, a putter, driver head cover and stand bag. The clubs are manufactured with oversized, lightweight heads. The driver has 14 degrees of loft, allowing for more forgiveness with errant shots. The uniqueness of the Inferno Stix series is the fire pattern that is painted onto the top of the driver and the backs of the irons.

The Lightning Stix series is available for children ages five through 12. Similar to the Inferno series, the Lightning Stix series comes with a 14 degree driver, three irons, a putter, driver head cover and a stand bag. The difference between the two sets is the aesthetic design. The Lightning Stix series comes with a blue and white lightning pattern on the back of each iron and on top of the driver.

As noted above, the sets are intended for children ages five through 12. You do not purchase the same set for a five year old as you would for a ten year old. Each club will have a different length for the age of the child. Sets for children five through eight will run about three and a half inches shorter than sets for children nine through 12.
