Featured Places to Play Golf in San Diego

Our first featured course in San Diego is the Johnny Miller and Robert Muir Graves designed Maderas Golf Club. With a slope of 145 from the 7,115-yard black tee and 131 from the 1,000-yard shorter copper tee, this number one rated beauty will test you. The designers have included several waterfalls, lakes, and acres of natural wildflower areas set between outcroppings of rocks that will attract your eyes and shots that don't go exactly straight. This is a great choice of places to play golf in San Diego.

Our final featured choice of places to play golf in San Diego is the Tom Fazio designed, par 71, The Meadows Del Mar Golf Club. Fazio is noted for his generously forgiving fairways, large undulating greens, and deceptively protective bunkers, and he has used all of these features here. The resort tees offer a slightly challenging slope of 123 while the tips test you with a slope of 138. This course is meticulously maintained and offers both challenge and reward.

There are literally hundreds of other courses throughout the Sand Diego area. We recommend Torrey Pines, Aviara Golf Club, and La Costa Resort. But no matter what type of course you are looking for, you will find it in San Diego.
