For a "cutting edge" tactical knife, you won't have to go any further than the Blackie Collins line of folding knives. These discount knives are hand-crafted and slick in design. Their "Letter Opener" series should satisfy any customer wanting a knife that's razor sharp and classy at the same time.

Blackie Collins Tactical Knives

The "Letter Opener" comes in both orange and black. It's a push button folding knife with standard or partially serrated blade. It has an ambidextrous thumb stud and handles of fiberglass reinforced nylon.

The deluxe "Letter Opener" is a tactical knife par excellence. It is a serrated boot knife with a one piece polymer construction. It's a double edged dagger blade, plain on one side and partially serrated on the other. Note to California residents--this knife is illegal in your state.

For the more expensive end of tactical knives, check out the Gerber Knife Company's Applegate-Fairbairn Combat Folder. This folding knife has a double beveled blade of stainless steel. This knife is a hefty six ounces with a length of 5 3/4 inches closed. Gerber also carries the black titanium covered "Black Covert." Both these designs are outstanding tactical knives.
