Karate Headbands

Karate headbands are purchased by Karate students for many different purposes. They can be used as workout bands to absorb forehead sweat during heavy sparring. They are also decorative touches that can match Karate gis and act as identification flags for schools during tournaments and competitions.

Most Karate headbands come in strips 2 1/2 inches wide by 42 inches long. They usually come in white or black fabric with black, white, and red letters. A cotton polyester blend is usually the best combination, as it allows the headband to be washed constantly with not too much fading.

Options to Consider when Deciding Karate Headbands

Because Karate is a Japanese martial art, many headbands feature the traditional red "rising sun" of the Japanese flag against a white background. Others may feature Japanese "kanji" letters in decorative colors or traditional dragon imagery. However, many also feature English lettering and words as well.

You can find these and a number of other Karate student gifts on many online martial arts supplies websites. There you can instantly view a number of designs and purchase as many headbands as you need. They are great as belt graduation gifts, party favors, birthdays, and stocking stuffers.
