The Timex Expedition line of watches is an extensive collection of high-tech yet attractively designed timepieces for men and women. There are several different choices to decide from, as each style has a number of specific areas of expertise. Some are made for the rugged outdoors-person, while others are strategically designed for the business traveler or weekend golfer.

For example, the Expedition Chronograph watch is able to measure a number of units of time, including seconds, minutes and hours. A window clearly offers instant viewing of the date and month within a stainless steel frame. The watch itself can be submerged safely under 50 meters of water.

The Expedition i-Control travel watch is another popular Timex timepiece, as it includes an easy "turn and pull" alarm and an INDIGLO night feature. These are great for business trips, camping trips and any other situation in which a travel alarm may be in demand. The Easy Set Alarm watch, on the other hand, also features an alarm that offers a two-way turning ring, luminescent hands, and an INDIGLO night-light that flashes on the alarm.

Timex Expedition Watches for the Outdoors

If camping or hiking in the wilderness, the Digital Compass Timex Expedition watch (which comes with a 100-hour chronograph and a 99-minute timer) can be quite handy. The casual yet durable Outdoor Expedition watch is made of lightweight, sturdy aluminum and is water resistant to depths of at least 100 meters. Either of these watches can be worn in the wilderness, yet are attractive enough to wear to a casual dinner party as well.
