Whistler Golf Vacation

It may seem unusual to head to a winter wonderland like Whistler to play golf, but one look at the area's manicured courses can change your mind. Vacations are about doing what you love the most. Families are often full of individuals who like to spend time together but also want to break away and participate in all of the activities that Whistler has to offer.

Leave Your Clubs at Home, Or Not

One of the best aspects of golfing while on vacation is the ease with which a game can be arranged. If bringing your regular clubs on the plane is not your idea of convenience, don't worry, rental clubs are readily available. Playing with a set you are not used to can be interesting because you get to experience the way different clubs feel and handle.

Don't be surprised if you don't manage to play through the entire course, the views often stop golfers in their tracks. Before you know it, you have been leaning on your nine iron for 15 minutes taking in the scenery. Even if you don't play the best game of your life, if you have a good time, that's all that matters.

If you make time in your everyday life to shoot a few holes, why not do the same on vacation? Golfers love to share stories of the courses they've played on and the legendary difficulty of certain shots. Whistler may be most well known for its skiing, but its golfing amenities are a very close second.
