Connecticut tourism is booming, as the state has many attractions that are perfect for both children and adults. There is Mystic Aquarium, Mystic Seaport, Mohegan Sun Casino, Foxwoods Casino, as well as some award-winning local wineries and ski resorts. Connecticut is beautiful year-round, so it makes no difference whether you visit in July or in October.

It seems that Connecticut tourism is high during the months of September and October, as tourists descend upon the state to take in the gorgeous fall foliage. This can be a great time to enjoy the natural beauty that abounds, and perhaps treat yourself to some much overdue rest and relaxation. You may wish to stay in one of Connecticut's historical bed and breakfast inns, which are typically very intimate and quaint.

Summer is also another bustling time for Connecticut tourism, as the weather is perfect for outdoor recreation. You can go horseback riding, take a tour of one of the local wineries, go rafting down the Farmington or Connecticut Rivers, or stroll through Mystic Seaport at a leisurely pace. There are also numerous beaches both along the Connecticut shore and across the border in Rhode Island, which are perfect for some fun in the surf and sand.
