Well, if you are planning a trip to the Constitution State in the near future, you will not have any problems coming up with places to visit in Connecticut. For such as small state, there sure is a whole lot going on that can entertain people of all ages. Therefore, if you are planning to visit Connecticut and you have small children in tow, all the better, because there are many things to do in Connecticut that cater to children and young adults.

To just give a general idea of places to visit in Connecticut, I will discuss some of the main attractions in the state. In Southeastern Connecticut, there is the world-famous Mystic Seaport, as well as the aquarium and Olde Mistick Village, which has numerous shops and cafes. All three destinations are equally suitable for children as they are for adults, so the whole family can come.

Some other great places to visit in Connecticut include Gillette Castle, the Garde Arts Center, and the Mark Twain House, all of which have historical value. If you appreciate a fine wine, then you just might want to hit the Connecticut wine trail and taste some of the state's award winning wines. You can also purchase a bottle or two to take home with you if you so choose.

The Best Places to Visit in Connecticut

I have saved the best for last, and both places are more suitable for adults. The Foxwoods Resort Casino and the Mohegan Sun Casino are both very popular attractions because they offer gaming, fine dining, shopping, luxurious spa services, and lodging accommodations. If you really want to get out and have some fun, you might hit these two popular Connecticut attractions.
